Professor Lori Thomas Leads Workshop Examining Solutions to Homelessness
School of Social Work professor and homelessness expert Lori Thomas recently joined other advocates in Burlington, NC for “Students Facing Homelessness,” a workshop to educate the community on what Alamance and other counties are doing to end chronic homelessness. Thomas touted the “Housing First” model, for which her reserach has demonstrated success in the Charlotte.
