Practicum Instructor & Task Supervisor Training

Thank you for your willingness to serve as a Practicum Instructor or Task Supervisor for a UNC Charlotte Social Work student! Key topics of the training include updates and changes to Practicum Education policies and requirements, details about completing practicum documentation, information about helping a student to be successful, and more!

North Carolina Social Workers can earn 2.5 contact hours for participation in this training.

Who Should Complete this training?

  • New Practicum Instructors and Task Supervisors
  • Current Practicum Instructors and Task Supervisors looking to learn about practicum educations updates
  • Current Practicum Instructors and Task Supervisors who have not participated in training within the last 5 years
  • Social workers interested in becoming Practicum Instructors for UNC Charlotte students in the future

Training Options

Currently, the training can be completed by attending one of our live, virtual training sessions or by viewing the recording. We cannot offer contact hours to those only viewing the recording. Click the link below to access more information and the registration form for the live trainings.
